Workshops for WellBeing
Workshops for WellBeing are designed to help adults living with mental challenges. The workshops use creative activities with discussion to address the lack of knowledge and confusion about mental health problems and to encourage communication and peer support.
Who does it help?
Workshops for WellBeing help children and adults living with mental health challenges. Exploring mental health through creativity can improve resilience and build your ability to protect your their own mental health. We support parents to discuss mental health with their children and become part of a community with others in a similar situation and we encourage companionship among those who feel lonely.
What does it hope to achieve?
Workshops for WellBeing aim to reduce the risk of developing mental health problems, build resilience and improve family relationships through creative exploration and shared making of things.
When and where does it take place?
Most of our workshops take place in Kinlochleven in the community library, with a number of workshops also available in Lochaline and Fort William. If you’d like to bring a Workshop to a location near you, please contact us to discuss your idea.
We are currently scheduling our workshops for WellBeing series for 2025. You can get up-to-date information on our social media pages or check the event calendar here.
